How To Help
Public support is essential to our mission at HMN and you can help us by donating your time and/or money. All donations of time and money are greatly appreciated.
Volunteer: The Hummingbird Monitoring Network would not exist without the dedicated help of volunteers, scientists, and citizens like you. If you would like to volunteer on a project, we suggest that you visit one of our public monitoring sites and talk with one of HMN's citizen scientists or scientists. They will be able to identify the best person for you to contact.
To volunteer at one of two of our monitoring sites, you may contact the site banders by visiting their web sites. For information on the Ft. Donate: Perhaps, you are unable to dedicate your valuable time to our cause but still wish to help by donating to us financially. We give you the option of choosing how we spend your money by allowing you to identify a specific project, or geographic region towards which your donation will be applied. If you are unsure where your donation will help the most, please donate to our general fund. HMN's promise to you is that we will minimize the organization's administrative costs and maximize the funds spent directly on our projects. In the event that the selected project is completely funded, HMN reserves the right to use donations for other projects.
