Federal AgenciesNational Park Service:
Three Arizona sites are at National Parks. Additionally, they have provided funding to support our monitoring program, begin the HMN Botany Program, and supported a number of projects, which include this website, monitoring kits, and a PBS video that was filmed in January 2006.
US Forest Service
Three Arizona sites occur on USFS land. They also manage the habitats most important for hummingbird diversity - forests.
US Fish and Wildlife Service
The USF&WS partially funded our research project that investigates the habitat requirements of nesting hummingbirds at the Southwestern Research Station in the Chiricahua Mountains.
Department of Defense
Fort Huachuca is an Arizona monitoring site.
Bureau of Land Management
BLM's Big Morongo Preserve is a California monitoring site.
State Agencies
Arizona Department of Game and Fish
The ADG&F has provided funding for HMN's brochure and volunteer travel expenses for monitoring in Arizona.
Nonprofit and Educational Organizations
The Nature Conservancy
TNC supports HMN in two Arizona monitoring sites - Ramsey Canyon and Aravaipa Canyon Preserves and one site in central Texas.
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum
The first professional home of the Hummingbird Monitoring Network. Their support allowed HMN to become established.
The American Museum of Natural History
The Southwestern Research Station (SWRS) in the Chiricahua Mountains is an Arizona monitoring site and we partner on research projects.
Cuenca Los Ojos
An Arizona monitoring site in the Chiricahua Mountains is located at their headquarters.
National Audubon Society
A California HMN monitoring site is on NAS's Bear Paw Sanctuary
Earthwatch
Earthwatch supports Dr. Becker's and HMN's preservation and research work in Ecuador.
Pacifica Graduate Institute
Pacifica Graduate Institute is a small private college south of Santa Barbara, CA with an 11 acre campus planted with a Mediterranean flora. It supports one of the California monitoring sites.

An Arizona monitoring site in Madera Canyon in the Santa Rita Mountains
Ramsey Canyon Inn
The Inn supported the Arizona monitoring site at TNC's Ramsey Canyon Preserve in Arizona.
Indian Peak Ranch
A California monitoring site and the owners are also citizen scientists for HMN.
